The collegiate church of Santa María del Campo is a primitive church from the late Romanesque period in the city of A Coruña, originally built in the middle of the 12th century (although the building that we can see today is from the end of the 13th century). It is called the field, according to what is said, for having been built on the outskirts of the medieval city, outside the wall; It has undergone different modifications throughout its history, although we know that it was the church of the sailors' and merchants' guilds of the city of A Coruña.
