Crossing the bridge, you can enter Poland, where you can visit the neighboring country, enjoy delicious food, shop, or travel further into the country. Directly across the border, there's a large market where you'll find everything from food and clothing to tools and outdoor supplies. Since it's the closest border crossing from Berlin, it's bustling, especially on weekends.

This bridge, rebuilt in 2018, leads to the north of the Neumark. In southern direction this is possible again in Küstrin. The ferry in Güstebieser Lose runs in the winter months not at all and also very much depending on the water level or the wind strength. However, there is hope that the so-called Europe bridge at Bienenwerder in 2021 will be opened to cyclists and pedestrians. Why so late, because the bike paths both in German and in the meantime on the Polish side are finished !?

On the Polish side, the market in the former buildings of the Niederwutzen pulp and paper factory immediately catches the eye after crossing it.
