Step by step you take the prepared winter hiking trail (along the toboggan run) towards the Kronberg. On the way, the Berggasthaus Scheidegg invites you to a cozy stop. You can get back to Jakobsbad either by cable car or by sleigh.

The path leads beautifully along the ridge and you can enjoy wonderful views of the Alpstein and the Appenzellerland. Unfortunately very crowded at the weekend. Wonderful during the week and in winter the paths are prepared for snowshoeing, winter hiking and tobogganing.
