Étretat is a city that no longer needs presentations. Its cliffs and its beautiful pebble beach captured the attention of impressionist painters. Today, the town retains its typical Norman houses, half-timbered buildings and markets for regional products. In summer, Étretat receives a lot of tourists, so choose the end of the season to go there.

Étretat is one of the most beautiful of these towns along the northern coast of Normandy and certainly the best known. Of course, the natural beauty of this place has everything to do with this fame. But that was once different because until the nineteenth century Étretat was a small fishing port where little happened.
