Upper middle-class house construction. Under monument conservation. High-quality two-story yellow sandstone building with 7x3 axes under a mighty half-hipped roof.
Built by Johann Jakob Gilbert from an immigrant Huguenot family. The building inscription says:
"17 IOHAN IACOB GILBERT 96".
Facade decoration in the Louis XVI style,
partly gold-plated.
Renovated in 2015. The most representative community center in Hoffenheim. Inside, old wooden stairs and large meeting room.

Hoffenheim's old town hall is a representative building from 1796. It is located directly on the main road (B45) and is therefore one of the flagships of the Sinsheim district. Today it is still used as an administrative office.

On the back facade, next to the entrance to the administration office, there has been a memorial plaque for the Birkenfelder family living in Hoffenheim since 2021. Like tens of thousands of Sinti and Roma, she was arrested in May 1943 on Heinrich Himmler's orders and transported to Auschwitz, where almost all of the imprisoned Sinti and Roma were murdered.
