Mostly the stones are dry and can be crossed in big steps. For children or small dogs it can be a bit difficult. Not recommended at high tide, as they are smooth and the water is deep. Since it is easier barefoot just a few meters down the river and with rolled-up trousers to cross the flat place through which the agricultural vehicles or riders must.
