The Catholic Church was built between 1707 and 1714 and stands on the filled cellar vault of the ancestral castle of the Knights of Haun, which was previously razed.
The church is consecrated under the name "Mariae Himmelfahrt" and has been renovated several times in the past few years. At last this was the top of the church tower.
In the immediate vicinity of the cath. Church is the cath. Rectory. In this it is also the catholic. Parsonage housed.
