The village pond in Oberstoppel is right on the main road. A fence has been put up around the pond to keep small children away from the water. Magnificent aquatic plants grow on the bank of the pond. In the middle of the pond is a small house that is obviously just waiting for boarders or other water birds to move in. There is even a short jetty on which the brave can take a few steps across the water.

The local council and residents have outdone themselves here❕️ After years of standstill, the space around the pond in the center of the town has been redesigned. A great shelter and the newly maintained / created pond invite you to take a break in any weather.
