In this largest courtyard in the city, you can enjoy the greenery, the tranquility and the view of the imposing Walburgis Church. The heart of the Oude Bornhof is Huize Borro, home of the wealthy clergyman Borro. This benefactor gave his house to poor old people. The striking entrance gate to the Zaadmarkt dates back to 1723 and bears the coat of arms of the regents of the time. Above the gate are sandstone statues of an old man and an old woman.
