Magenheim Castle is one of the largest German palas buildings with Staufer humpback ashlars and one of the best-preserved residential castles. Erected in the first half of the 13th century. Gabled roof with tail gables created by Georg Beer after a fire in the mid-16th century. Shield wall demolished around 1827. Numerous renovations by changing owners, most recently in 2011 two completely new attic floors with repairs to the entire masonry. Awarded the Staufer Medal of the State of Baden Württemberg.
