A nice excursion destination, in the tower you can visit a small museum in one room or go straight to the observation deck for... wonderful view 🙂

Almost the entire Ore Mountains can be seen from the tower. An audio guide also tells the Uhiesschn (non-natives) what to see where and what there might be interesting things to say about the towns and landscapes. You can find out even more in the nicely designed exhibition halfway up the tower, where you can walk over a map with felt shoes and listen to the guide about what each city has to offer.
Incidentally, with a top view you can see as far as the power plants near Leipzig.
