    The whole area at the Salinepark Rheine is a nice local recreation area for young and old. The salt pans with the adjacent salt boiler house are very interesting. There is also the three-gabled house, where you can buy small souvenirs, get tourist information, and bike rental is included.
    Furthermore, the Josef Winckler House and the Rheine Nature Zoo are located on the site.
