To enjoy the view in peace you should come from out of time - if 3-4 buses are on the edge it is totally overcrowded.

From this perspective, the size of the ancient thermal baths becomes clear. At the time of the recording, the restoration work even without the scaffolding. If you consider that the Barbarathermen were much larger, you get an impression of the Roman Treveris more than 1800 years ago.

In the curve there is a bus stop and possibility to stop by car. Below the road and the wall, a path leads along the edge of the vineyards. Best view of Trier and high-altitude parts of the city. From the Luxembourg Tower car park there and back is a walk of approx. 5 km.
