At 2,262 m above sea level M. is one of the most modern and highest located restaurants in the Alps. The culinary temple was planned by the world-famous architects Herzog & de Meuron (SBB Stellwerk 4 in Basel, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg) and was completed in 2015. From here you can enjoy a view of summits in 6 different countries (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Liechtenstein, Italy).

On the surrounding Rosenboden, an easy, 3km long panoramic hike invites you to soak up the scenery.

For me, the construction of the cable car and the restaurant (built by Herzog & de Meuron), which fits very well into the landscape, was a success.
The panoramic trail is also a perfect destination for inexperienced hikers to enjoy this magnificent view of the Alps.
