Vandring

Na Gruagaichean translates to 'the Maidens' in English and is a marvellous Munro in the Mamores range. Its twin tops are often summited en route to Binnein Mor and the connecting ridge is an absolute hillwalker’s delight.

The contours on the komoot map don't do the NW summit justice...though the top is a ridge and not a small peak. We oldies found the last bit of the descent from the main summit a bit tricky [ since although the small wall on the R was sound, the gritty shoulder's surface underfoot meant I wondered if a rope could have been a good addition to the daysack]
