To the east of Leipzig lies the Haselberg quarry lake in Ammelshain. The lake is operated by the Tauchsportlandesverband Sachsen, guests from other states can dive the lake for a daily fee and stay overnight in the base at the lake.

The quarry falls in several stages down to a maximum depth of 29 m. At the entrance you will find remainders from the quarry time. A Lorenstrecke leads into the depths, at the end of which are also several Loren, with which earlier the rock was taken from the quarry.
