According to legend, the bishop of Bamberg did not want to give the citizens a place to build a town hall. That is why the Bamberg piles rammed into the Regnitz and created an artificial island on which they built the town hall.

Particularly noticeable are the frescoes, which also come into their own at night thanks to the lighting.

View of the bridge town hall in Bamberg. The old town hall is one of the most impressive buildings in Bamberg, a symbol of the rulership boundary between the episcopal Bamberg and the bourgeois city center. The façade paintings with figurative elements are particularly beautiful - and the view of the Mühlenviertel on the left and Little Venice on the right (if you move towards the old town). And now another hidden object game: who can find the woman with the four breasts? :-)

The old town hall is surrounded by fascinating architecture with wonderful façade painting, in the middle of a small island and is surrounded on both sides by the Regnitz.
