The national natural monument Peklo (German: Höllengrund) near Česká Lípa is located in the valley of the Robečské stream between the village of Zahrádky near Česká Lípa and the town of Česká Lípa. It is a small-scale protected area that was declared in 1967 and has been managed as a private reserve since 1895. The Peklo Nature Reserve educational trail leads through the valley, which is widely visited especially in the spring because of the carpets of flowering sedges.

Vandring

The settlement of Karba, formerly a summer resort, is idyllically situated at the entrance to the "Valley of Hell." It features beautiful, traditional houses and information panels that tell much about the history of the place. Several benches invite visitors to rest. Everything is very clean and tidy.
