With the bus line 65 from Rankweil you get to the final stop Laterns Bädle. From here the ascent to the Freschenhaus and Hohen Freschen begins via the high valley of the Garnitzalpe. There are also parking spaces for cars. The advantage with bus is, on the one hand, the benefit for the environment and, on the other hand, you can choose another descent route, e.g. B. choose to Innerlaterns to the bus

At the final stop of the bus line 65 from Rankweil, a nice ascent to the Hohen Freschen (2004m) begins. Initially, a steep, shady farm road goes into the high valley. It is in the high valley itself. Towards the end of the valley, from the mountain pasture it becomes steeper again, e.g. t. through small forest
