The Raxseilbahn is located in Lower Austria and leads from Hirschwang to the Rax. The cable car leads from an altitude of 528 m above sea level. A. at 1,546 meters. For the operating length of 2,160 meters, it takes between seven and ten minutes. The largest distance between gondola and ground is 60 meters, the largest span 800 meters.

In 2016, the facility, built in 1926, was renewed in view of the extension of the license based on the 2003 Cable Car Act. New safety gadgets and the full computer were installed here.
