    Rottweil anses vara Baden-Württembergs äldsta stad och har en mycket sevärd gammal stadskärna med vackra korsvirkeshus, som är färgglatt målade och kärleksfullt dekorerade med målningar. På sommaren är staden särskilt vacker, eftersom blommor blommar överallt i den gamla stadskärnan och otaliga uteserveringar inbjuder till att dröja kvar på gatorna och torgen.

    Pittoresk gammal stad, genom vilken tusentals dårar drar genom gatorna på Rosenmontag och Faschingsdienstag under Rottweiler Narrensprung med sina masker och i sina traditionella dräkter. Det är definitivt en händelse värd att se. Många hus har vackra burspråk med färgglada motiv. Nedanför i dalen flyter den ännu smala Neckar.
