Vandring

As a memorial to the many dead, such memorials or war memorials are still very important today. "Now, Lord, let your servant go in peace, as you said." However, the people who are commemorated here did not divorce in peace, but became victims of war and tyranny.
Many of the places and monuments that you come across along the way are evidence of the horrors of war and tyranny, which is still relevant and relevant today. They all have two essential functions, and this for each new generation:
-1- Commemorate and remember the victims
-2- Remind to keep the peace

Vandring

The war memorial built in 1932 is characteristic of the Lunapark. From here there is a wonderful view of the Ohm Mountains and Dün to the Göttingen Gleichen.

Vandring

The Leinefeld Lunapark, which was built in 1929, is located on the hill between the old town, the southern town and the housing estates. The war memorial built in 1932 is characteristic of the Lunapark. From here there is a wonderful view of the Ohm Mountains and Dün to the Göttingen Gleichen. With the urban redevelopment, the Lunapark was also upgraded. This created a spacious relaxation room with cycle and footpaths, integrated play and sports facilities and places to linger. The meadow theater is a venue for events.
