Almost as high as the Rotwand, but not quite as crowded. The view is very beautiful, you should definitely walk a little bit north-east from the summit cross at the summit. At the end of the path you have a wonderful view of the Soinsee.

Bergsvandring

The Hochmiesing is really a great peak in the Spitzingsee/Rotwand area for several reasons. It's a bit out of the way, so with a bit of luck you'll be completely alone here. However, it is still very easy to reach - it takes just an hour from the Taubensteinhaus. The climb is easy and the paths are not difficult. And despite all the mountain pines, you have a wonderful view over the Tegernsee/Schliersee mountains.
