Sunday, sunshine ☀️ and still snow ❄️, finally some cross-country skiing ⛷️ again. I went through Beckswiesen to the mill pond. Where I usually go, there were lots of ice skaters today. ⛸️ On the way back, a speed flyer crossed my path.

We had originally planned to go to Saxon Switzerland, but the bad weather forecast made us abandon that plan. But why travel so far when the good things are so close at hand? So today we set off with @Anna Bolika on the Waldheim hiking trail. Beautiful hiking trails and views of the town of Zschopau from all sides.

The last few weeks have been stressful. Now I can finally relax a bit. To balance out the cozy time at home in the warm living room, a hike through our beautiful countryside is just what I need. Today my destination was Weilberg at the Kriebstein reservoir, where a wonderful coffee awaited me. 🤪 I had planned a mountain bike tour via Komoot, but unfortunately, I couldn't do it as planned. The paths along the dam proved impassable for cycling at this time of year due to the steep incline and wet leaves.

Today we went on a similar tour to yesterday, only in a group. Right after our start, we reached Bleiberg, where history can be experienced hands-on. The medieval mining town of Bleiberg was built there in 1990, faithfully recreated.
The area became the film set for the fairytale film "The Sweet Porridge
