We set off in beautiful weather..., the forecasts were OK too... A thunderstorm came up on the way. That's what I'm most afraid of in the mountains 🙈 I briefly considered turning back, but we were too close to the destination to make it back down before the storm and we knew that there was a small hut

Unfortunately, our short vacation is over just in time for the good weather 😩
My legs gave up on every climb today, so Thorsten had to push me or I just kept pushing 🤷🏼♀️🤣🥳
In any case, we had another great adventure and felt like we had two weeks of vacation. That's how it always is on our bike trips. 😄🧡👍🏻

Today we continued on towards Vielsalm/Salmchâteau, nice and wet. Our last destination before we return to the starting point towards Troisvierges tomorrow, where our car is waiting for us.
For me the hardest/most strenuous stretch.
After the first 22 km and 500 meters of elevation, we came across a refreshment

Today we went from Maastricht to Esneux. We stayed dry for the first hour, but then it rained cats and dogs🙈 Then we went to a waffle bakery in Liège to warm up😄
It even stopped raining briefly🥳
The route today was almost entirely along the water and over several bridges. It would certainly be beautiful

Highly motivated and feeling fitter than yesterday, we set off for Maastricht. In the first hour we were wet to the skin 🥳🥳😂 So first we got some strength, dried off and warmed up in the bakery in Roetgen.
When it stopped, we continued towards Maastricht (via Aachen). We actually arrived in Maastricht

The Vennbahn cycle path is really beautiful, but also undulating. Cycled to Monschau today in the dry 😄🥳 Monschau really is a cute little town 😍

Nice bike tour to start with the city bike ride to the Porta. Then via Zewen to Grevenmacher to Nittel for good food and wine at Apels😄🥳. Met and got to know fun people 😄😂🥳
Then via Konz and Kanzem to the Saarauen for crêpes and shandy and then via Krutweiler back to Serrig. I'm done 😜🥴🤣
