Mira has been our new housemate for a week and a half. She'll be joining us on regular walks. Today, she enjoyed the beautiful Birkhoven woods, where she can also run freely.

The final stage was short but beautiful. It was good to arrive in Santiago for the second time. It felt different than last time. Komoot apparently decided it was enough 1.5 km before the end and called it a day.
After 439 km of walking, I have my second Compostela and a T-shirt, so now I can go home. Been there, done that... 😉

Today was a breath of fresh air compared to yesterday. The route went mostly through rural areas, with occasional forest trails through (mixed!) woodland. Sometimes you had to wind your way through the chestnut trees. It was a flat walk, with only the last 5 km being a grind on a long, straight asphalt

This was by far the most boring stage so far (Primitivo and Inglés). The beginning was alright, with beautiful skies and lovely views, but after that it was an endless, semi-paved road through a vast eucalyptus forest.
