2nd day of hiking in the Sauerland
The journey to the start was adventurous, and without the help of locals, we probably would never have made it. Google kept trying to convert forest paths into roads. And then there was a road closure.
The hiking trail itself was beautiful. I waited at the bison enclosure

Day 1 of the Sauerland Hiking Weekend
Today we arrived and started our first hike in Bilstein. The beginning of the hike was challenging: overgrown, slippery, and very steep. After that, the path was easy. The first highlight was Bilstein Castle.

Today's Traufgang was not as heavily hiked as yesterday's Traufgang Zollernburg-Panorama. And there is a real challenge on this Traufgang, which is the queen stage of the Traufgänge: after descending from the Felsenmeer, you end up on a forest path that stretches all the way to the path towards Schalksburg

3rd Sauerland Hiking Day
Mainly spent on the Rothaarsteig. Nothing particularly special. The three works of art are quite interesting, the accompanying information is very small print. I like the crozier the best.
