What a beautiful day. It was pretty warm and muggy but that doesn't scare us off. We had to do this tour today because the peonies and orchids are fading. Too bad that the church in Beutnitz was not open (although it was said that it is open) The station is only for dentists and the ornamental shrubs

I had planned a sooo nice tour around Bad Kösen but thanks to Corona (I can't hear it anymore, let's finally live again) things went wrong. We wanted to take the ferry down at the Saale, but it didn't run. Then we ran in front and ran over the car bridge and wanted to go up to the terrace of Villa Ilske

Today it was all about Bad Sulza. I had created the tour myself on the map. I must have been the first at Komoot to run the tour because the navigation system was overwhelmed in many places. It was a shame that the graduation tower was closed due to construction work and that the Sonnenburg was closed

A wonderful tour for the first day of vacation. It was about 18 km by bike, the rest on foot. This small island is visited by countless migratory birds in spring and autumn. With us there were only those who are always there. Seagulls, geese, swans, herons, etc.
