We started from SP Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. SALINE DE GIRAUD. Through dry areas we ALWAYS went straight on gravel paths. Very tiring, the salt gardens were really worth seeing.
We saw lots of flamingos and Camargue horses. After the tour we went to the beach and cooled off in the sea 👍👍👍😉

From Etang de la Vignolle in the direction of St. Maries there is a hiking trail that is open to bicycles. The scenery is very beautiful - but I wouldn't cycle it with luggage or I would have to push it part of the way... (approx. 2km "bumpy section", 2 short stretches of sand to push: 5m+20m).
