This tour includes sections on busy roads, which is not so nice. However, the cycle paths are very well developed on these sections.

You can, but you don't have to. Lots of construction sites along the way, lots of bike paths right next to the road. Not my thing. 😉

There is something for everyone on this tour. Typical Dutch dreamy villages taking a nap, lots of water, standing and flowing, horses and donkeys, a windmill and 2 lively towns, unfortunately also in commercial decline but still attractive and inviting to linger.

Yesterday I cycled to the Netherlands again
The Maars route from Venlo to Roermond. ...and then on the other side of the Maars back to Venlo..
As always, it's.. 🚴🏽‍♀️🚴 .. riding.. on great, well-maintained, developed cycling paths.. a very nice, relaxed cycle.. and we also took advantage of the refreshment stops..☕️☕️.. 🍔🍟...🥤🍺...
It was nice....🙋🏻‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Our bike tour today went from Tegelen along the Maas. In Steyl we took the ferry and then we went via Kessel to Roermond and then via Bessel back to the starting point. It was a nice tour with perfect weather.
