Galle ist eine - für Sri Lanka - außergewöhnliche Stadt mit einem Flair, das so gar nicht den Ruf Sri Lankas als "tropische Insel im Indischen Ozean" unterstreicht, sondern dank seiner histor. Gebäude und v. A. seinem wuchtigen Fort eher an Südamerika erinnert... 🙄🤷🏻♀️

Überraschender Weise zeigte sich heute die Sonne - das musste gleich für eine Tour genutzt werden. Das Ziel war dieses Mal der Venusberg, bzw. der dort befindliche, "legendäre" Steinkreis, den man jetzt - da das Gras nicht mehr so hoch gewachsen ist - sehr gut sehen kann 👍🏻😁

After a quick "test run" at home two days ago in freezing temperatures 🥶, I was way(!) overdressed today. 12°C is practically spring weather (I hadn't expected that!), so it was a real treat to go out today – even if some of the paths were decidedly (too!)
