The beautiful weather tempted me to explore further in the surrounding area instead of driving directly via Leimen to Nußloch. The pizzeria in Bruchhausen is highly recommended.
Overall, a beautiful route, far away from the main traffic. A special highlight, of course, is the forest near Sandhausen.

Grey herons and muskrats in the park are not shy. A kingfisher was spotted at the Obermühle mill outside the park, now the tax office.
The forest area to the right above the large lake is currently closed (July 2025) due to the risk of broken branches.
