However, komoot's planning function is borderline when it sends you on trails that aren't suitable for a mountain bike... stairs... okay... but the two drop-down doors are definitely not necessary; they're marked on the map... but you only see them when you zoom in…

It was hot today... up to 31°C!
Today's trip to Oberasbach and Zirndorf was about the places I lived between 1980 and 1994... I took photos, of course, but they're not of public interest... I'm not so famous that there's a dedication on the houses that says "Thomas Z. lived here from 1980 to 1982." 😜 🤣

This time, Komoot planned my outward journey very well... it took me through beautiful landscapes with lots of ponds and storks.
I made the return journey along the Main-Danube Canal... also very interesting.
Bamberg, with its beautiful and worth-seeing old town, is rightly a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
