Dargysdorp is mentioned for the first time in 1375 in the land register of Emperor Charles IV. With a short break of a few years, the place has been owned by the von Holzendorf family for over four hundred years. The Thirty Years' War also leaves its mark in Dargersdorf: A Landreiterbericht from 1687 informs that no farmer is resident in the village, only two Kossäten miserably their existence.
