After this work was completed, a foundation of granite blocks was created on the hill and built on the first stone church. This was about 23 meters long, about 7 meters wide and had a height of 20 meters. The walls had a thickness of just over 3 meters. This building was built in the style of Romanesque. On the eastern gable it had a semicircular choir-like conclusion. In each gable there were arched windows as well as on the two long sides one round arched door and three small lancet windows. Over the centuries, the building decayed more and more, so that it had to be demolished in the 19th century. Only the outlying bell tower from the 15th century has been preserved.
In 1862, the present-day church of St. Mary Magdalene was built as a single-nave hall church with retracted semicircular apse. This received like its predecessor church a semicircular shape and a round vault.

Maria Magdalena Church
