The church is a rectangular stone building, which has on the east and west side each have an entrance (portal). The saddle-roofed sacral building was built in the late Middle Ages (15th century). The basket arch windows on the south, north and east sides date from the time of the reconstruction of the church (after 1782).

The church has a square wrought west tower with a barred dome. The Schiefereindreckung was renewed in the mid-50s of the last century. The tower is completed by a top consisting of a sphere - it was renewed in May 2001 - and a weather vane. In the tower hangs a bell from 1887. It was cast in Bautzen by Johann Gottlob Gold.
