Monte Baldo can be climbed from 3 ways: Ala, Mori/Brentonico, Caprino Veronese. All of them have quite some challenging segments. Starting from Mori and up to Brentonico, it is a nice and gentle climb (around 5-6% avg), pretty quiet and with nice views on the valley. After Brentonico village, the steep parts start, up to 13% gradient. The total climb is around 22km. Great scenaries, mostly in the sun. Not recommended when it's too warm. The top reaches 2000mt altitude and weather at those heights can quickly change. Arm warmers and a vest are always good to have as a back up.

Especially from Spiazzi a lot more attractive and less steep than via Ferrara. No meanness from the slope beforehand either. For the descent, the main street is indeed the better alternative because of the width and the surface.
