On the western edge of the cirque, the large district extends from the sand-covered Grundmoränenhochfläche the Ringelahs heath and Brutloh heath in the west to east in the lowlands of the Great Moor and here especially the smaller Hestenmoores that formed in the meltwater drainage channel of the Isetales. The larger western part of the district has a weak small relief, altogether sloping to the east from 67 to 58 meters NN, the smaller eastern part in Hestenmoor a flatness of 56 to 57 meters NN. The village lies on the eastern edge of the Brutloh heath with its core in a very flat south-exposed hillside from 63 to 65 meters NN. The new parts descend in barely noticeable inclination to the east to 62 meters, south to 60 meters below sea level. The village with its boundaries is located on the southeastern edge of the nature park Südheide and has no conspicuous topography.
