Built in the first half of the 14th century, the wooden bell tower was added in the 18th century. The rectangular fieldstone building with a straight east end is supported by sturdy buttresses. The east gable is decorated with blind arches.

The High Gothic stepped portals have chamfered jambs. The north portal has been blocked up.
The west tower was damaged by lightning in 1973 and partially demolished.

In 1976/77, it was raised to the ridge of the nave and covered with a flat pyramidal roof. A sacristy-like brick extension was built on the east wall.
The interior is spanned by a two-bay cross-ribbed vault.
The pulpit and altar date from 1732 and were probably once connected as a pulpit altar. Today, the simple pulpit stands close to the congregation.

The altarpiece was painted by Isrun Lange in 1970.
On a simple gallery against a light background, the richly carved Baroque organ case stands on the west side of the church. The organ dates from 1708 and was presumably built by Matthias Dropa. It came to Dreilützow from Lüneburg in 1801. It was restored by the Jehmlich company in 2004. In the churchyard, there are several gravestones and tombstones belonging to the von Bernstorff family, the landowners of Dreilützow and patrons of the church.
