Praia do Großer Brombachsee, Allmannsdorf

The beach near Allmannsdorf is the perfect place to take a break. Here you can swim in the water, lie in the sun on the beach, enjoy Franconian specialties in the beer garden or simply admire the view of the lake.

If you want to take it easy on your legs after a long bike ride, you can hop on the MS Brombachsee and chug across the lake. Special treat: Bicycles are transported free of charge.

Located right next to the largest beach and on the main dam of the Großer Brombachsee, in the "Sand & Sofa Allmannsdorf" you can relax and enjoy the "original wood-fired pizza" with a fantastic view. Convenient: The “MS Brombachsee” pier is right in front of the door, and children can let off steam in the large playground next door.

In the Brombachsee, the Altmühl flood transferred from the Altmühlsee is stored and, if necessary, released into the Regnitz-Main area to increase the low water. The length is 1,700 m at 36 m (greatest) height. The transfer water or the minimum amount of water for the Brombach is released via the two extraction towers of the service outlet.
