There is hardly anything better for road cycling than a quiet route right by the sea. Here along the water you have a clear view of Scattery Island while you relax and feel the fresh breeze. The flat road is ideal for letting your legs pedal a little and just taking in the surroundings. Especially in good weather, it is worth riding here for a while and watching the interplay of clouds and sun over the sea.

The route offers nice stops every now and then where you can enjoy the peace and quiet or take a look at the small boats in the distance. If you find the right pace, the landscape glides past you and the gentle sound of the water accompanies you for every kilometer.

It is a well-developed road that is also ideal for longer tours. The light wind can be challenging at times, but brings the fresh sea air straight to you. So, grab your road bike and enjoy this peaceful ride along the coast.
