Kojšovská hoľa is the highest peak of the same geomorphological sub-unit in the Volovské Hills .

Kojšovská hoľa slope with an altitude of 1 225 m above sea level . m. is the highest point of the district Košice-okolie .
It stretches between the villages of Kojšov , Opátka , Zlatá Idka and Prakovce , approximately 16 km west of Košice . It is a distinctive landscaped unique mountain peak overgrown with heather, blueberries and cranberries with a circular view of the surroundings. It runs slightly north from the main mountain range .

It provides excellent ski terrains, especially on the southern slopes , where there is an extensive ski area Skipark Erika, with a built - up chairlift and ski lift . Approximately 1 km below the summit of Kojsovska hole at an altitude of 1,045 m above sea level. m. stands mountain chalet Erika , which is the second highest built cottage in the Košice region . At the top station of the ski lifts there is the tea room Katka.
