Also known as "El Greco", Dominikos Theotokopoulos was born in Heraklion in 1541 and died in Toledo in 1614 , Spain. He takes his first courses at the Ag art and grammar school. Aikaterini. In 1566 he went to Venice because he was looking to immerse himself more in the currents of the Italian Renaissance. There he found work in Titian's workshop and stayed with him for 4 years, while at the same time he was also involved in sculpture.
