In dry summers, the cave can be explored relatively safely by hikers at around 50 meters. Then at the latest you will hit water. With rubber boots you can go a few meters further. But after 70 -80 meters at the latest it's over. A siphon begins here that can only be submerged by experienced speleologists.
The cave is unlocked and freely accessible.

The murder hole is a water-bearing cave - in technical terms: an active vadose cave in the Roggen valley near Steinenkirch, a district of Bömenkirch in Baden-Württemberg.
