    The path from the Bärenstaffl is a partially exposed grade path that is secured with steel cables in some places. Before that, a leisurely fade leads over the overgrown ridge. From the Schwarzkopf, the Steinfeldspitze is connected to a path a little below, which is also secured in a few places, but I wouldn't recommend this path to beginners either. For beginners, the path to the Ark from the top station of the chairlift is recommended.

      We wanted to walk from the Schwarzkopf towards the Steinfeldspitze. However, the path is very demanding. That's why we're back and have made the Gamskogel. On the descent, we noticed the second path, towards the Steinfeldspitze. We walked this one too. Significantly better and not quite as demanding as the other one from Schwarzkopf. But there are some climbing passages. ☝️
      A very nice view!
      We are then even further in the direction of Bärenstaffel. Also very beautiful and impressive with the 6 meter high summit cross!

        The entire ridge path over the Steinfeldspitze (to the east and west of the summit) is for the most part completely unsecured and should be avoided by beginners. The stretch over the ridge from Bärenstaffl to the Steinfeldspitze is still quite ok, as there are good steps in the rock. Then it continues on a mostly completely unsecured, narrow, sloping path just below the ridge along the mountain flank. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are prerequisites here. For those who dare to do this, respect for the mountain and caution are appropriate. The memorial cross erected on this path for a hiker who had an accident there stands as a silent reminder.
