The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Martin in the Waldviertel is located in St. Martin in the market town of St. Martin in Lower Austria. The parish church hl. Martin belongs to the deanery Gmünd in the Diocese of St. Pölten. The church is a listed building.

Documented in 1340 was called a Vicariate. The single-nave, originally Romanesque, Ostturmkirche was baroque in the second quarter of the 18th century and widened to the west. In 1889 the church was renovated. In 1948 a restoration took place.

The church is located north of the main square on the thoroughfare and is surrounded by a cemetery. The square choir tower - in the core Romanesque - has bricked and eastern an unmade-in coupled arched window and east side a gothic single-tracery window and south side a baroque flat arched window and an onion helmet from the year 1858. The north-sided sacristian building is in the core Romanesque. The simple nave has Baroque flat-arched windows. The parish church was probably founded by Hadmar II of Kuenring (died 1217) and was originally built in the Romanesque style.

A Romanesque double window can still be seen on the tower (two of these windows are bricked up). On the east side of the ground floor, a Gothic, single-track tracery window has been preserved, as has the Romanesque sacristy from this period, which is attached to the tower to the north.
