In the Landpark Lauenbrück, surrounded by a very idyllic landscape, you can see various animal species from close up. Especially in the outdoor enclosure the deer and deer do not seem to be afraid. If the animals have already become enough, they can also spend their time in the tasty restaurant, on one of the children's playgrounds or on the adventure path directly on the lake. During my 5-hour stay I especially noticed the cleanliness of the park and the scrupulousness of the animals. Overall, a very nice facility!

Opening hours:
All year round also on public holidays.
Spring to Fall (March - September): 8am to 6pm
Autumn - Spring (October - March): 8am to 5pm

LandPark Lauenbrück is open all year round. There is a lot of information on the homepage:

It is a rather small animal and landscape park with a focus on donkeys, chickens and sheep. There are also a few old, endangered breeding breeds here. Furthermore, as the name suggests, the zoo is also a country park. There are herb parks and other gardens, ponds, but also long stretches that simply run through the forest. Unfortunately, there is a lot of wasted potential to make things more attractive. However, the core area of the zoo with the largely spacious enclosures is very well maintained.

The rather high entrance fee is due to the fact that the LandPark has to be financed entirely privately.

The friendly staff and the cozy restaurant are also positive. Definitely a perfect stopover on the hike.
