The Asenturm, which opened in 1923, is still considered the best place for a spectacular Ochsenkopf view. As the second highest mountain of the Fichtelgebirge, located at an altitude of 1,024 meters, the view seems to sweep over all of Bavaria. Unfortunately, he also attracts some visitors, who arrive not only on foot, but also with the chairlift. Nonetheless highly recommended!
