The Kreka Community Center is now located on the site of an exceptional and very significant building for Kreka that stood for more than 100 years. It was built in 1894 during the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In December 1920, the miners' union in this building, then the Workers' House, decided to join the general strike of miners in Bosnia and Herzegovina, known as the Husinska buna, the largest social uprising of Bosnian workers. After World War II, the building served as the headquarters of the Physical Education Society, DTV "Partizan". The completely neglected building was demolished in 2017, and in 2020, a new Kreka Community Center was built on the site of this historically significant building, thanks to the tireless efforts of the members of the Kreka Citizens' Association.

DTV "Partizan", the Physical Education Society, was a sports and recreational club in Kreka. For decades, it was a meeting place for young people from Tuzla and Kreka. It was a nursery for young athletes. 'Partizan' offered sports and other recreational facilities, was a gathering place for young people, a place for socializing, sports competitions, training and much more. Thanks to this, sports in Kreka reached a high level in the 1960s and 1970s. They practiced gymnastics, indoor soccer, table tennis, handball, basketball, volleyball, shooting and athletics. For many, their first encounter with sports was in this society.
