                                    On the way to the Brocken, attached to a display board, you will find the "Gelber Brink" stamp box (888 m above sea level). To the right, the covered Ilse falls down into the valley.

                                    You can hear the rushing of the river and you can also see the river bed, but the watercourse is hidden under huge granite rocks. The small rest area tempts you to take a short break.

                                    The iron signpost shows different directions. It is only 4 km to the Brocken. In the vicinity of the stamping point, the Urwaldstieg branches off the Brockenstraße, which leads directly through the core zone of the national park for a length of approx. 200 m. Poems by the Blankenburg writer Bernd Wolff can be read on plaques along this staircase.
